Suzanne Kasler knows how to mix it up!
After meeting Atlanta based designer, Suzanne Kasler at an invitation only book signing event at the Hickory Chair showroom in Dallas last week I have been submersing myself in her new book “Inspired Interiors”. She has such a wonderful sense of style which is consistently seen throughout each design, and her rooms are truly one-of-a-kind.
She brings such a fresh look to her spaces by mixing classic traditional pieces with one of a kind pieces. Suzanne cleverly uses accent colors, and elegant architectural pieces in her spaces which give a soft collected look to her rooms. I truly think of her as one of the masters of the “collected” look, and I hope to be able to utilize some of her tips from her new book in my future designs.
Here are some of my favorite rooms from her vast portfolio of projects.
Mixing in up with contrasting side chairs in a formal dining room.
What a fun retreat for a child with this floating bed.
Classically designed living room.
A space for every activity in this room perfectly fit for a young teen.
Not only is she the principal of her own design firm but she also has a furniture line at Hickory Chair, in which I actually ordered her Collier table from. Then to add to the list she has lines with Ballard Designs, Lee Jofa, Visual Comfort, and Soicher Marin Fine Art. I don’t know how she does it all, but I am sure glad that she does.

This bed is another one of my favorite pieces from her Hickory Chair line.
A room designed using her collection from Ballard Designs.
